GCC’s Liberal Arts/Health Science Option has articulation agreements with several institutions that allow for easy transfer into a bachelor’s degree program. LAH students planning to transfer to should visit the Transfer Office website to learn more, especially about possible MassTransfer restrictions.

Marisa Douglas came to GCC after taking classes at the Rhode Island School of Design. Originally preparing for nursing, she discovered she loved Biology and ended up transferring as a Biology major to Smith College.
Melissa Osborne is a mother of young children who started off taking classes online to ease herself into the college setting. She found a number of ways to make her experience at GCC productive and successful.
Dawn St. Luce comes from a family with careers in health care; her father was a physician and her mother was a nurse. She chose GCC’s Nursing program from the strong recommendations of friends who attended the college.
Mark Stein was inspired to enter nursing after being involved in caring for his own aging parents and with encouragement from his parents’ caregivers at a long term care facility. He currently works in long term care.
