Why choose PSJ?
Do you have an interest in issues of social justice, human rights, democracy and peace? Do you also want a career? You can have both!
The Peace and Social Justice Studies Liberal Arts degree option at Greenfield Community College offers students an opportunity to understand the relationship between social justice, peace and culture. The program provides a focus for students interested in peace and social justice studies within the framework of the traditional skills and content of a liberal arts eduction.
Upon completion of the program, you may transfer to a baccalaureate degree institution to study any liberal arts discipline, peace and/or social justice studies, or other related fields.
GCC's PSJ program is one of only six community college peace and social justice programs in the country. Consider studying with us to become involved with the local, regional and global issues that affect us today. Find your voice and learn new ways for resolving conflicts and understanding differences!
"The trouble is, once you see it, you can't unsee it. And once you've seen it, keeping quiet, saying nothing becomes as political an act as speaking out. There is no innocence. Either way, you're accountable."
