Engineering Programs at GCC

GCC offers the first 2 years of a standard 4 year engineering program. Engineering is the application of the basic sciences to specific fields of design and process. We offer the needed Physics, Math, Chemistry, and through a consortium agreement with UMASS, the very specialized courses for each of the engineering specialties. While a person may sometimes be able to find a job with only an associate degree, these positions are few and far between. Most Engineers need a minimum of a Bachelors degree. The pay makes up for the investment in your education. Below you can link to the engineering courses available at GCC. Not all courses are offered each semester. GCC has the flexibility to adjust the Engineering concentration electives to match the transfer requirements of most colleges, and we are open to working with students as to their specific goals
