Greg VourosGregory Vouros, MA

Greg began teaching at GCC in 1976.  He is Professor of Anthropology and has taught and continues to teach courses in Sociology and Human Ecology. Greg was the co-founder of the Human Ecology curriculum and its experiential laboratory Project TEME which gained national and international acclaim. For the past several years Greg has been working on the development of online courses and usually offers at least one section online in Anthropology each semester and during the first summer session. Greg has developed an online section in Sociology as well. Greg is the chair of the college’s Information Resource Management committee and is a member of the Technology Advisory committee. He is also a member of the Faculty Instructional Technology Support group which assists in the support and training of faculty interested in developing curricula involving distance learning and the use of technology in the classroom. Greg started his college education at Boston University, and has a Masters of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts.
