League of Women Voters Candidate Forum

Non-partisan candidate forum for state Senate and House races, hosted by the League of Women Voters, in preparation for the state primary elections on September 4. Each candidate will have the opportunity to make a short speech, followed by an hour of informal tabling and conversation. Light refreshments will be served.

The event will feature candidates in races for state senate and state house of representatives from all districts that include Franklin County, including:

  • House: Second Berkshire (Greenfield, Northfield, West County)
  • House: First Franklin (Shelburne, Turners Falls, Deerfield)
  • House: Second Franklin (Millers Falls, Gill, North Quabbin)
  • Senate: Berkshire, Hampshire, and Franklin (Greenfield, Northampton, Amherst, Orange, etc.)
  • Senate: Berkshire, Hampshire, Franklin, and Hampden (Shelburne, West County, Conway, Ashfield, etc.)

All declared candidates in the Republican and Democratic primaries for the races above (including write-ins) have been invited to participate.

Attendance at an orientation event is required for new, matriculated GCC students and those who have had a break in attendance for more than two years. Join us to make connections with faculty, staff and other students and learn more about what to expect in college. Register online at gcc.mass.edu/orientation.
