New England Development Faculty Consortium holds an annual Fall and Spring focused conference. The New England Faculty Development Consortium (NEFDC) was founded in 1998. The group evolved from the work of individuals engaged in faculty development at a number of Massachusetts colleges and universities.
Colleges of Worcester Consortium’s Certificate in College Teaching at Worcester State offers both online and face to face courses. It is a program that is grounded in the latest educational research on best practices in college teaching, and is designed and is designed to enhance the teaching and learning experiences for faculty and students in higher education. The primary focus of the Certificate is to prepare graduate students, adjunct and full-time faculty who aspire to, or who are currently engaged in, a career in academia.
Massachusetts Community College Teaching and Learning Conference is held generally every April. Proposals for workshops, presentations are usually due in early February. A call goes out from host college. The focus of this annual conference is on community college academic and student development.
