The Pell Institute  has released a report entitled Bridging the Gap: Promising Practices for Promoting transfer among Low Income and First Generation Students. The  report indicates the cultures of colleges that promote retention and transfer.  The executive summary discusses  the negative impact of too many adjuncts on transfer rates.
