OverviewRepresent.Us is seeking qualified candidates for a Development intern in our Florence, MA office. We offer semester-long and summer internship opportunities to talented undergraduate students who are passionate about addressing the undue influence of money in U.S. politics. This internship will allow students to gain a deep understanding about the stewardship and relationship-building piece of the development process. The Development intern will play a direct role in the day-to-day work of the Development team for our national campaign.
This internship will teach you to apply a variety of skills in the fast-paced setting of a national political campaign. You will learn the basics of donor engagement, fundraising, and stewardship for a fast-paced, national organization. Essential responsibilities include: cultivating and stewarding our donors; researching new donor prospects; communicating with current donors; and database maintenance.

Depending on skill level and interest, interns may:
Copy edit messages and materials to donors and membership lists
Support our fundraising database through research and data entry
Help manage stewardship program for existing donors
Track organizational accomplishments and reporting to donors
Other as needed duties as a member of the Development team
Students may include work completed during this internship in their professional portfolio with explicit permission from Represent.Us.
