Overview

Assist our Sales Director with new and ongoing sales initiatives. Will aid in the improvement of our current sales strategy. This internship will have a heavy concentration in running various sales reports and providing analysis. This internship will also include additional ad hoc tasks.

Start date

(flexible) summer: mid-May; fall: mid-September

End date

(flexible) summer: mid-August; fall: mid-December

Intern responsibilities

Responsibilities & tasks include:
• monitoring & contacting amazon.com diverters
• trends for retail outlets such as Whole foods
• classifying & organizing various retail outlets
• collecting & organizing demo testimonials
• sales rep tracking & statistics
• budget monitoring
• maintaining potential boutique contact list
• Quickbooks updates

Required intern qualifications

• GPA of at least 3.0
• an interest (better yet, a passion!) in natural skincare, healthy living & ethical business practices

Desired outcomes of internship

The intern will gain real-world experience in a fast-paced work environment that will prepare them to work in a business that must react quickly and effectively to the demands of an ever-changing marketplace. The successful intern will come away with an understanding of business applications, the need for quick response and turnaround time on projects and the importance of interdepartmental communication. Interns are held to “workplace” standards of proper attire, punctuality, dependability and productivity. Whether the intern is working toward course credit or to gain experience and references, suki, inc provides a solid platform.
