Pioneer Valley Resource Center (PVRC)
Founded in 1981, in part through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Center provides a research facility for the entire community. It contains current and rare books, oral histories, slide-tape presentations, motion pictures, newspapers, and the Howe Brothers Photographic Collection.
Please note that only circulating items from the PVRC are available during the Library renovations. Rare items, including the Howe Brothers Photographic Collection, are unavailable until further notice.
Yankee Rowe Nuclear Power Station Public Information Repository
The GCC Library is the repository for information on the closing of the Yankee Rowe Nuclear Power Station. While most materials must be used in the Library, some are available for patrons to keep.
Archibald MacLeish Collection
Founded in 1974, this is the only authorized collection in the world devoted solely to the purpose of advancing the knowledge and understanding of three-time Pulitzer Prize winning poet, Archibald MacLeish, the man, his work, his life, and his times.
