How do I cite my sources?

It is important to cite the sources that you use when writing a research paper in order to give proper credit to the source of the information. There are a number of different styles used for citing sources, such as MLA (Modern Language Association) or APA (American Psychological Association). Your instructor may have a preference as to which style is used, so please ask if the style was not specified in the assignment. Style manuals are available in the Reference Collection and in the permanent Reserve Collection. The following web sites can help you find the proper form for citing your sources.
