The following web sites are useful for locating government documents:
FirstGov | This is the official U.S.
gateway to all government information links you to millions of web pagesfrom
the federal government, local and tribal governments, and foreign nations
around the world. It provides portals organized around customer groups
and topics (seniors, students, etc.) instead of agency names and includes
a Reference Center. It provides specialized sections for citizens, business
and nonprofits, federal employees, and government-to-government.
Thomas | This is the official site
for legislative information from the Library of Congress. Search for bills,
public laws, the Congressional Record, and committee information. It also
provides links for the branches of U.S. Government, how laws are made,
state resources, and historical documents.
GovEngine | This site is created
by a non-profit organization in Florida dedicated to providing the citizens
of the United States of America with an understanding of the accessibility
of online government resources. Their purpose is to facilitate communication
and cooperation between the public and all branches and levels of government.
GovSpot | GovSpot is a non-partisan
government information portal designed to simplify the search for the
best and most relevant government information online. It offers a collection
of top government and civic resources hand-selected for their quality,
content and utility.
GPOAccess | GPO Access
is a service of the U.S. Government Printing Office that provides electronic
access to important information products produced by the Federal Government.
The information provided on this site is the official, published version
and the information retrieved from GPO Access can be used without restriction,

databases.
SearchGov | This is a directory
and search engine for United States and state and local government sites.
It includes the most commonly used links (House, Senate, White House,
