Renovations
Since January 2006, the Library has occupied a temporary space on the 4th floor of the North Building. This space will be our home throughout the renovations of the Core Building over the next few years. Library materials and services are available during the renovation, but the majority of our circulating books are in storage off campus and must be requested in advance (see below). Rare items from the Pioneer Valley Collection, including the Howes brothers photographs, are not available during the renovations.
Where are all the books and how can I get one?
During the renovations of the Library's permanent home in the Core, most of our circulating collection is in storage off campus. During this time, you may request books from our collection through the GCC Library Catalog, and pick them up the following day. See Borrowing & Circulation for detailed instructions on requesting items online.
