The GCC contingent in the Franklin County Fair Parade enjoyed great company and great weather as they marched in the 2008 Franklin County Fair Parade. The group was lead by GCC President Robert Pura, who waved at parade watchers lining the three mile route as he carried the Greenfield Community College banner with Dean of Student Affairs Terry Boyce for much of the distance.

Joining them were GCC Dean of Institutional Advancement Martha Field, GCC Foundation Board member Arthur Schwenger, and many other employees and alumni of the college. The GCC Alumni Association banner was carried by Faculty Emeritus and 1965 graduate, Jean Simmons along with alum Terry Goddu ('06, '07).
