Getting help
Monitors, consultants and staff members are available to help you
make full use of the Academic Computing facilities.
How do I identify a Monitor or Consultant?
Names are posted on the white board in the front of Room E139. Consultants are
identified by a "flag" mounted at their seat.
Monitors give general information to users; supply guest disk and other software to users; and install paper and supplies in the printers.
Consultants assist with software- and computer-related problems, supply materials (if available) for software, and provide course-specific consulting where authorized.
Computing staff provide hardware and software help when monitors are not on duty, and specialized technical assistance that is beyond the scope of expertise of monitors and consultants.
