The College Store also offers daily buybacks throughout the year and online. Inquire within the store for specifics on selling back textbooks.
Greenfield Community College uses two national used book companies to come in and conduct the buy back. These two companies buy books for both the College Bookstore and their wholesale company. If the store has an order from a faculty member to use that textbook for the next semester, we will have the wholesaler buy that book for us and can pay back the student 50% of the purchase price. However, if we are not buying back the book for GCC students to use in the subsequent semester, the wholesaler(s) in conjunction with the College Store, will offer the students a great deal less for the textbooks. If the textbook has gone into new edition, it usually won’t be purchased at all.
