GCC invites nominations for Living the Dream Award

Greenfield Community College invites nominations for the 2 nd annual presentation of the "Living the Dream” Award, honoring individuals who have carried on the ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in their community.

The award was created by President Robert L. Pura, who first announced it January 2003 when the College hosted the annual community event celebrating the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Nominations for the "Living the Dream” Award should be made in the form of a letter to President Robert L. Pura at Greenfield Community College , One College Drive , Greenfield , MA 01301 . The deadline will be Friday, December 3rd. The award(s) will be presented on MLK Day, January 17 th, 2005 , the national holiday set aside to reflect upon the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. A selection committee will work with Dr. Pura in naming the successful recipients.
