Coca-Cola donates racing bike for contest

No purchase was necessary for a chance to win a ten-speed racing bike in Dasani Water theme colors, donated by Coca Cola to GCC Food Services. All you had to do was stop by the GCC cafeteria and fill out an entries. By the time the month-long contest was over this spring, the entries filled three boxes. One of those entries was filled out by GCC student Tara Berthiaume, says Gary Weiss, Food Service Director, who happened to be present at the drawing. "When the winning ticket was drawn,” recalls Gary, "I read her name wrong. I read Clara, and she yelled out, Tara! Meryl Sackin (Director of Student Activities) came over, looked at the ticked and confirmed, ‘Yup, that's her!' She was so excited!”
