About our department

Message from the Director of Public Safety
Greenfield Community College is located in the Greenfield Meadows, a beautiful, pastoral setting. The atmosphere is relaxed, conducive to learning, self-enrichment, and personal growth. Our students, faculty, and staff play a vital role in shaping the character of this community. Students are from varied economic and cultural backgrounds and our faculty are well known for their commitment and dedication to the educational mission of the College. That mission, in part, is to provide students with the opportunity to learn from and about each other and about the society and the world in which we all live.

Through its Public Safety Office, Greenfield Community College is committed to maintaining a safe and pleasant campus. We are committed to promoting safety awareness and crime prevention programs for all members of the College community.

The most important component in a successful crime prevention and awareness program, however, is the cooperation of every member of the campus community: students, faculty and staff.

The information provided in this web site is intended to inform, advise and alert the campus community of the current programs, policies, and procedures related to safety awareness, emergency response and crime reporting at Greenfield Community College.
