Scholarships and awards

GCC awards - The GCC Foundation provides a number of grants and scholarships to students through various fundraising activities. To view these opportunities, visit the Financial Aid Office.
University Scholars Program at UMass-Amherst - Eligible students must have earned a 3.75+ GPA at a Massachusetts community college, earned a designated transfer associate's degree, and be a resident of Massachusetts. One award per community college, offered each semester, $10,000 per year.
Jack Kent Cooke Scholarshiop - $30,000 for two or three years, for community college transfer students. 50 granted nationally. For more information, www.jackkentcookefoundation.org. Locally GCC is partnered with Amherst College.
