International students

Welcome! Greenfield Community College (GCC) enrolls a diverse group of men and women whose backgrounds and talents enhance the GCC educational experience.

With a wealth of support services for first-year college students, returning college students and speakers of other languages, international students thrive at GCC. We look forward to making your GCC experience positive and rewarding!

Some questions we often hear from our international students:

Is orientation mandatory?
Yes. Orientation is a required program for new degree-seeking students and students who have been away from the college for 2 or more years. Students who do not meet the orientation requirement (on campus or online) will not be allowed to register for the next semester.

Is there a club for international students?
Yes. International Students Club meetings give students a chance to meet new international students and friends, share experiences from GCC, here in the U.S. and cultural customs from home countries, and plan activities for the semester.
