The recorder photographer snapping (from left to right) Tony Reiber (Greenhouse Technician), Chris O’Connell (yours truly), the amazing and outrageous Abrah Dresdale (Coordinator of the Farm and Food Systems degree option), my exquisite hen friend Krystal Graybeal (student in the forum), and the jazzy Ginevra Bucklin-Lane (also a student in the forum). Aren’t we amazing?

We had an amazing meeting today where we hacked out the details of our upcoming charette (slotted for March 28th…we’ll keep you posted). It will be a fun, interactive, learning and sharing experience that allows people to come together and vision, learn permaculture skills, network, and more! We look forward to seeing you there!
I think we need a major change! I think we need a major change soon because the world we live in faces some serious difficulties. Questions arise: how will we feed ourselves in a world of decreasing energy supply? How will we work together to secure our communities? How will we share more in an economy that is sufferring and faces serious challenges?
