About Women's Studies
The Women's Studies concentration at Greenfield Community College offers women and men an opportunity to understand various disciplines from the perspective of women within the framework of the traditional skills and content of a liberal arts education.
Completion of the Women's Studies concentration leads to an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts. This course of study prepares students for career opportunities in agencies and businesses providing services to women. The degree can be transferred to a baccalaureate degree-awarding institution in fields such as liberal arts, women's studies, and interdisciplinary studies.
If you are interested in being admitted to GCC as a matriculating student with a Women's Studies concentration, you may apply online at our Office of Admission.
