Rebecca Cheng '96 - International Management Consultant
Rebecca Cheng lived in Taiwan, had completed her Bachelor of Arts degree, and was thinking about where she should go to graduate school. She had done some research and thought that Oklahoma might be a good place to get started on her advanced education. But her brother, Paul, a restaurant owner in Greenfield, told her that "Greenfield has a great college! Why not come here?" Luckily for Rebecca and GCC, she agreed. She moved here in 1996 and attended GCC's English as a Second Language program, then transferred to Johnson & Wales University, where she completed her Master's in Business Administration in International Business in 1998.
Rebecca now works as a Marketing Manager for an exporting factory and has had the exciting opportunity to visit many countries as part of her job, inclunding Australia, France, Belgium, Holland, Czech Republic, Japan, Korea, China, Thailand and Germany (traveling is one of her favorite leisure activities). She says that "GCC taught me a lot and gave me a wonderful experience." She knows that it changed her life and will surely change the lives of many more students.
