Start at GCC, go anywhere! Today more than ever, community college students have a variety of options for transfer, and GCC's Transfer Office is committed to putting you on the path to a four-year degree.
GCC offers students...
- Massachusetts Joint Admissions Program - guaranteed admission to any of the four campuses of the University of Massachusetts and seven of the state colleges for GCC grads of eligible programs with a cumulative 2.5 GPA
- Education agreements with area and regional schools to provide even more transfer options which include transfer of credit, as well as transfer of the Associate Degree in specific programs
- Assistance in the transfer process - our Transfer Office helps you to from start to finish, with support ranging from clarifying your areas of academic and career interest, to researching schools, to picking appropriate GCC courses, to helping complete your college applications!
Many of our students transfer to the University of Massachusetts or Massachusetts state colleges. GCC also sends graduates to other top schools in New England and the rest of the country. Check out our list of destination schools from the past three years!
