I started working at GCC in September of 2007. I have supervisory responsibility for Student Activities & Community Service, Community Access Scholarships, Women’s Resource Center, Educational Transitions Program, Health Records and the Fitness Center. Additionally I co-chair the Diversity Programming Sub Committee and the Student Development Committee. I approve all medical withdrawals, oversee Human Development Courses, handle first-level behavioral issues, coordinate service learning and civic engagement on campus, and serve as a resource for students in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. I attended Indiana University as an undergraduate and majored in Elementary Education. I received my Masters and Doctoral degrees from the University of Vermont where I studied higher education and leadership and policy development. I am a resource for students in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction; students who are looking to volunteer or become involved in an internship or service learning project in human services, those who are looking to withdraw from the college for medical reasons and/or general referral. Fun Fact….I am from Indiana and one of the few in New England who is not a Patriots fan. I adore my Colts!
