Co-coordinator of the Peer Tutoring Program
Supervisor for tutoring in writing, English, world languages, humanities, social sciences, and professional studies

The Peer Tutoring Program is a free program, which strives to offer one-on-one peer tutoring for all courses at the college.  In the fall and spring semesters, writing tutors are available during fixed and flexible hours to meet the writing and study skills needs of GCC students.  Writing support includes help with understanding assignments, brainstorming, outlining, and feedback on organization and support for ideas. We also provide content tutoring for most courses, including world languages. During our regular hours there are multiple appointment slots each day. For summer and January courses, tutoring is provided as needed.

Appointments are available in person or virtually, in the Peer Tutoring suite, 4th floor core, M-F 9-3:30. Virtual appointments can also be scheduled for evenings and weekends, though requests for evening and weekend appointments must be submitted before 3:30 weekdays.

To make an appointment, use the "Request an Appointment" button to the right of this screen.   A tip sheet on using Google Meet is posted there as well. Questions? Email Peer Tutoring at , or call 413-775-1330. We will communicate via phone, text, and GCC email.
