Access your MyGCC and email accounts.<\/strong> Your login credentials were sent to you in two separate emails. The first contained your username and student ID number, and the second contained a temporary password. Use these to log in to your MyGCC account and set up your permanent password. Once your permanent password is set, you will use these login credentials to access your MyGCC, student email, and Moodle accounts. It may take up to a half hour for your permanent password to work for your student email and Moodle accounts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Do you want to receive credit for classes you've taken at another college?<\/strong> For a review of transfer credit, request official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities to be sent to the Office of Admission. If you last attended GCC over five years ago, you will need to resend all college transcripts for evaluation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Determine course placement.<\/strong> We use multiple measures<\/a> to determine which classes are right for you. Discuss your options with the Advising Center<\/a>\u00a0before you make an appointment to take a placement test.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Are you in a program that requires a CORI?<\/strong> Some programs of study require a CORI check. If this applies to you, you will find the CORI form in your enrollment checklist in your admission portal. Once the online form is submitted, the CORI hold will be removed from your account. If you are unsure if this applies to you, call the CORI Officer at (413) 775-1816.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Complete the FAFSA and your Financial Aid Intent to Enroll Form<\/strong> accessible at gcc.mass.edu\/sfs<\/a>. Financial aid counselors are available to assist you with completing the FAFSA; for assistance, email sfs@gcc.mass.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Academic planning and course registration.<\/strong> Visit the Academic Advising Center<\/a> to schedule an appointment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Submit immunization documentation.<\/strong> Massachusetts state law requires all students enrolled in 12 credits or more (as well as health occupations and international students) to provide proof of immunization<\/a> signed by a health care provider. Health occupations applicants must meet additional program-specific requirements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Pay your bill.<\/strong> Log into MyGCC to check your status, see payment options and to make a payment. Contact Student Financial Services at sfs@gcc.mass.edu<\/a> with questions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Attend mandatory orientation.<\/strong> Orientation is required for all new students and students returning after an absence of more than a year. Learn about important college services and prepare for class.
