GCC names 50 distinguished alumni for 50th anniversary year

To celebrate Greenfield Community College’s 50th Anniversary, the GCC Distinguished Alumni Award has been given to 37 alumni, joining the 13 Distinguished Alumni who have been honored since 2001. The award is made to GCC alumni who hold a degree from GCC or have taken at least 15 credits, have contributed to their community, state, country or world in an altruistic or exemplary way, and/or risen to prominence in their profession. Thank you to Distinguished Alumni Committee members Deb Klein ’79 and Patricia Wachter, Co-Chairs, Alden Booth, Jeanne Dodge ‘07, Bill Fitzpatrick ‘84, Sandra Lively ’93, ‘02 and Pete Ruggeri for their hard work in selecting the 37 Distinguished Alumni from a very large field of impressive nominations.
