We recognize that every student learns differently, and some may need accommodations to fully engage in our academic programs and campus life.<\/p>\n<p>If you had an <strong>IEP<\/strong> or <strong>504 Plan<\/strong> in high school, have a <strong>physical<\/strong>, <strong>psychological<\/strong> or <strong>learning<\/strong> disability, or are <strong>blind<\/strong>, <strong>deaf<\/strong> or hard of hearing, we encourage you to connect with Disability Services. All communication is confidential and will not appear in your official academic records.<\/p>\n<p>Accommodations at GCC are determined individually, based on current and relevant documentation, and may differ from what you received in high school. Request Accommodations<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n<p>Complete the intake form, then submit it securely <strong>online<\/strong>, by <strong>mail<\/strong> or <strong>in person<\/strong> (we do not recommend emailing the form as it will contain sensitive information). Document Your Disability<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n<p>Provide your most recent disability documentation before your appointment, if possible. This allows our staff time to review your materials and prepare for your meeting. For documentation requirements, see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gcc.mass.edu\/ds\/documentation-guidelines\/\">Guidelines for Documenting a Disability<\/a>. Schedule an Intake Appointment<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n<p>Request an initial one-hour appointment by emailing <a href=\"mailto:DisabilityServices@gcc.mass.edu\">DisabilityServices@gcc.mass.edu<\/a> or calling (413) 775-1334.<\/p>\n<p>We strongly encourage you to connect with Disability Services\u00a0<em>before the semester begins<\/em>\u00a0to ensure that your accommodations are in place when classes start.
