#MeToo Workshop: Telling Your Story

Tuesday February 20

1:00pm-3:00pm

C307 Macleish Room

Maya Angelou said, “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” Gather together in a safe, generative storytelling workshop to speak and write your own #MeToo story and experiences. We will not only focus on the stories themselves but on how telling our stories frees us, to some degree, of the hold they have on us, and how, in unison, they can create community and change. Participants who are willing can share their stories beyond the workshop in Plum, GCC’s online literary journal.
