Randy Bell: Conversations with America

Thursday October 11

12:30pm-1:30pm

C208 Community Room

Randy Bell’s latest book, Conversations with America: Confronting the Divisive Challenges of Our Time, is a series of essays intended to provoke critically needed conversations between family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and political leaders; respectful conversations that consist not just of talking but also listening, fully, to what others are saying; conversations that help the continual development of each person’s perspectives and opinions. Randy will be leading just such a group conversation based on the themes of his book. And, while we may not come to the same conclusions given our differences, what matters is that we honor those differences so as to live in shared community with each other.

Free and open to the public. Limited seating; register in advance.
