    Autumn on the Connecticut River: Quinnetuckut II Trip

    Sunday October 2 1:00pm-3:00pm

    Once again Richard Little will explore this history on a 90-minute cruise down river about six miles to Barton Cove before returning to Northfield. Learn about the many striking features of this area such as flood plains, terraces, abandoned waterfalls and other evidence of the glacial era of Lake Hitchcock. You will also be cruising along the “Age of Dinosaurs” fault that formed as Pangea separated. The boat leaves promptly from the Riverview Picnic Area which is about 2 miles north of Route 2 (in Erving) on Route 63. Space is limited! You must RSVP in advance.

Entrance counseling is an information session which explains your responsibilities and your rights as a student borrower. Want to get your student loan? Better attend one of these mandatory sessions!
