8th Annual Adjunct Faculty Dinner and Workshop
Adjunct faculty are cordially invited to attend the 8th Annual Adjunct Faculty Dinner and Workshop on Thursday, August 29th from 4:30-7:30pm. This event is co-sponsored by the Greenfield Community College Professional Association (the local chapter of the faculty and professional staff collective bargaining unit) and the College.
The first hour of the evening will be a “speed dating” activity where adjunct faculty will meet with representatives from the Women’s Resource Center, Financial Aid, FITS, the Advising Center, Peer Tutoring, Disability Services, Counseling, the Library, Veteran Services and the Diversity and Inclusion Center. This will be followed by greetings and information from President Yves Salomon-Fernandez; Chief Academic and Student Affairs Officer, Mary Ellen Fydenkevez; and your union leadership. The final hour of the evening will be a workshop on dialogue based conversation with Alyssa Arnell and Leo Hwang. A light dinner will be available from 5:30 to 7pm.
Stipends of $50 will be provided for all adjunct faculty attending. Please register early so we have an accurate count.
Recognizing that many adjunct faculty are coming from other work and life responsibilities, the dinner and conversation is scheduled for the first part of the evening, so we welcome you to arrive when you can.
