Artist Talk: Jacin Giordano

Artist Talk: Jacin Giordano

Join us on Zoom for the Art Department’s fall lecture series. Jacin Giordano (b. 1978 Stamford, CT) works in Easthampton, MA. He received his BFA in painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, MD and his MFA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Although his work sometimes blurs the line between painting and sculpture, Giordano primarily identifies his work through the lens of painting where he is continually interested in deconstructing and reconfiguring the physical possibilities of paint. His work is the result of experimentation and a constant exploration of material, texture and process. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Artforum, New American Paintings, The Boston Globe, and Vogue. Learn more at jacingiordano.com. Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/98131613995
