Conversations with Playwrights: Jan Maher

Playwrights share their research and writing processes in interactive conversation with session participants. Most Dangerous Women features the words of scores of women the world over who have worked for peace and justice for over a century, set in a framework of historical headlines and songs. Of Jan Maher’s documentary readers’ theater play, Dr. Craig Eisendrath, Center for International Policy, has said, “A more effective means of educating the public about the role of women in fostering world peace could hardly be imagined.” Most Dangerous Women is part of the LAVA Center’s social justice in the arts and media program. (Tickets for the play reading itself can be reserved at thelavacenter.eventbrite.com.) Sponsored by OASIS (Older Adults Seeking, Inspiring and Serving). RSVP for the Zoom link.
