Law Enforcement and Harm Reduction Information Summit
Greenfield Community College and New England HIDTA are pleased to announce a half-day summit for collaboration and information sharing to enhance Harm Reduction and Overdose Response Strategies within Western Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire and Vermont. HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) and ORS (Overdose Response Strategy) officials from MA, VT and NH will present an overview of drug trafficking corridors and pathways for accessing drug trafficking data collection to anticipate volume, type and strength of drugs flowing through high intensity trafficking corridors within the target area. This event is designed to assist law enforcement, corrections, public health, emergency response and harm reduction officials and specialists in coordinating strategies for dealing with overdose threats on a “real time” basis. HIDTA will also be seeking feedback from local partners on trends within their areas of responsibility in order to coordinate and improve existing information sharing protocols. No cost for attending this event. Open to agencies, organizations and professionals working in law enforcement and public health. Co-sponsored by the Opioid Task Force of Franklin County and the North Quabbin Region.
