Can I set up a Facebook page for my program/department/class?
GCC’s social media guidelines stipulate that all social networking and social media sites and accounts that purport to officially represent GCC must be approved by Information Technology and Marketing & Publications and must include a staff member of one or both areas as an account administrator. (This applies to official student clubs that receive funding from Student Life. Unofficial or informal student clubs or groups that are not funded by the College are exempt.)
If you’d like to create a Facebook page, Twitter or Instagram account, or establish any other social media presence for your program or department, please submit a HelpDesk ticket.
