Following are instructions for connecting to GCC's wi-fi network with your personal<\/strong> device.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Laptops<\/div>

This includes laptops on loan from the GCC Library.<\/p>\n

  • On a PC<\/strong>, navigate to Internet Connections<\/strong>, which is usually found on the bottom right-hand side of your screen; on a Mac<\/strong>, navigate to the <\/i> symbol on the right of your menu bar<\/li>\n
  • Turn on Wi-Fi and select GCC Personal<\/strong> from the list of available connections<\/li>\n
  • Your browser should open to our splash page\u2014if not, click on the link to open browser and connect<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • On your browser, check the consent box and click Continue to the Internet<\/strong>. Authentication can take a bit of time; avoid refreshing the page during this process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>
    <\/span>Android Phone or Tablet<\/div>

    • Go to\u00a0Network & Internet<\/strong> in your phone settings<\/li>\n
    • Choose Wi-Fi<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Turn on Wi-Fi and select GCC Personal<\/strong> from the list of available connections<\/li>\n
    • When the GCC splash page opens, check the box to consent<\/strong>\u00a0and click on\u00a0Continue to the Internet<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • If the GCC splash page does not automatically open, click on the notification prompting you to sign in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>

      • Go to\u00a0Wi-Fi\u00a0<\/b>in your phone settings<\/li>\n
      • Make sure Wi-Fi is on and select GCC Personal<\/strong> from the list of available networks<\/li>\n
      • On the page that opens, check the consent box<\/strong>\u00a0and click on\u00a0Continue to the Internet<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n

        Please note!<\/strong> You will need to\u00a0reconnect your personal device to the GCC wireless network daily<\/strong>. For some devices, this requires navigating to your Wi-Fi settings, locating GCC Personal, forgetting GCC Personal and then reconnecting.
