Mission

The Greenfield Community College Library’s mission is to provide the services and resources necessary to develop an information literate population, with consideration for varied learning styles and a range of diverse and multicultural interests. This mission is achieved through:

• teaching the strategies and skills for students, faculty, and staff to become effective users and creators of information, and
• providing access to information resources for lifelong learning and critical inquiry in a variety of formats.

Vision

As the College’s scholarly information center, the Greenfield Community College Library’s space, information resources, and services support the transformation of information into knowledge for all members of the GCC community.
