This collection contains official records as well as unpublished material documenting the functions, activities, and intellectual materials produced by and about members of the GCC community. The various creators include: college administration, staff, faculty, students, and alumni. Material types include: meeting minutes, memoranda, administrative records, published reports, official publications, student publications, newspaper clippings, yearbooks, scrapbooks, photographs, posters, event programs, brochures, and personal papers.<\/p>\n<h3>Research<\/h3>\n<p>Researchers can contact Claire Lobdell at <a href=\"mailto:lobdellc@gcc.mass.edu\">lobdellc@gcc.mass.edu<\/a> or by calling 413-775-1834.<\/p>\n<h3>Digitized Collection<\/h3>\n<p>Most GCC Records have not been digitized. The following items are available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/catalog.gcc.mass.edu\/resources\/archives\">GCC Course Catalogs, 1962-Present<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalcommonwealth.org\/institutions\/commonwealth:2v23zq21b\">Oral Histories in Digital Commonwealth<\/a>, including the Saul Sherter Greenfield Jewish Community Oral History Collection, Franklin Medical Reserve Corps' Resiliency During COVID-19 Pandemic Oral History Project, and others.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/greenfieldcommunitycollege\">Student Newspapers at the Internet Archive<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/greenfieldcc\">GCC Video Recordings<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Donations<\/h3>\n<p>The GCC Archives is happy to accept gifts of materials related to the history of the institution, its students, staff, and faculty. The Nahman-Watson Library is unable to accept materials on loan; donated materials become the property of the library. Library staff are unable to provide financial appraisals for tax or other purposes. Please call or email Claire Lobdell (<a href=\"mailto:lobdellc@gcc.mass.edu\">lobdellc@gcc.mass.edu<\/a>; 413-775-1834) before bringing materials for donation.<\/p>\n<h3>Processing<\/h3>\n<p>The initial inventory, arrangement, and processing for this collection was completed in the spring of 2018 by Caroline Dubinsky. Additional processing and description has been completed by Claire Lobdell and by student workers Joshua Reis, Mark Waite, Polly LaCoy, and Sophie Brown.<\/p>\n<h3>Arrangement<\/h3>\n<p>This collection includes 15 records groups. You can expand the links below to see the contents of the records groups. Detailed listings for individual records groups will be linked below as they are indexed. Please note that some series subseries numbers are missing\u2013i.e. numbered subseries may jump from .05 to .08.
