Most passes are physical items borrowed from the library, and some are also available as digital passes.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How Museum Passes Work<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Passes are available to GCC students, staff, and faculty on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Physical Passes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced reservations are not available<\/li>\n<li>Must be picked up and returned at the library front desk<\/li>\n<li>7-day loan; cannot be renewed<\/li>\n<li>Lost passes may result in a replacement fee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Digital Passes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Digital museum passes are available only to GCC students, staff, and faculty<\/li>\n<li>All pass requests must be submitted through the online form<\/li>\n<li>Approved passes are sent via email<\/li>\n<li>Each pass is valid only for the single date requested<\/li>\n<li>Requests must be submitted at least 24 hours and no more than 72 hours in advance of the requested date<\/li>\n<li>Requests are processed Monday\u2013Friday during regular business hours<\/li>\n<li>Digital passes are subject to availability and not guaranteed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our CWMARS partner libraries also offer museum passes to a wide range of regional museums, historic sites, and other attractions. Free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<h5>Amherst College, Mead Art Museum<\/h5>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amherst.edu\/museums\/mead\">Mead<\/a> holds the art collection of Amherst College, celebrated for its American and European paintings, Mexican ceramics, Tibetan scroll paintings, English paneled room, ancient Assyrian carvings, Russian avant-garde art, West African sculpture and Japanese prints.
