GCC announces Saturday Enrollment Day and GCC Is Downtown! Events

August 7, 2019

Greenfield Community College (GCC) will hold a Saturday Enrollment and Registration event on August 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the Main Campus. Students can explore their academic opportunities, apply for admission and financial aid, test, and register for Fall classes all in one visit.  Classes begin on September 3.

GCC is also announcing GCC Is Downtown! at the 270 Main Street location every third Tuesday of each month. GCC Is Downtown! will allow students full access to admission, financial aid, advising and registration services without traveling to the Main Campus.

At each of these events, Admission, Advising, and Financial Aid Counselors will be available to answer questions and assist students with each step of the application and registration process. Counselors will help students connect their academic goals with a degree or certificate option, complete the online admission application, help map out an academic plan, provide information about funding a college education and assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Information will be available about GCC’s numerous program offerings, new opportunities in the Medical Assistant Certificate Program in Northampton, and a new certificate program in Music Recording and Production. Students can also learn more about Liberal Arts degrees that transfer to four-year colleges and universities; and if they are interested in professional training and development, options are available through GCC’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education Program.

Be sure to visit GCC Main Campus on Saturday, August 17th for the Saturday Enrollment and Registration Day or August 20th at the GCC Downtown Center at 270 Main Street to get started for the Fall semester.  Registration is also open at the Main Campus Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Walk-ins are always welcome at GCC and no appointment is necessary.
