GCC Welcomes Inaugural Vice President of Institutional Mission, Culture and Climate

Greenfield Community College (GCC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Angela N. Campbell as its inaugural Vice President of Institutional Mission, Culture and Climate (IMCC). Dr. Campbell brings a wealth of experience in educational leadership and a deep commitment to fostering inclusive excellence in higher education.

Dr. Campbell joins GCC after serving as Vice President of Mission, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Cabrini University. Her career also includes serving as Assistant Dean of the School of Education, co-founder of the Center for Urban Education, Equity and Improvement at Cabrini University, and Inaugural Executive Director of the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion at Carnegie Mellon University. She has dedicated her career to promoting academic success, cultural competency, and community engagement within educational institutions.

Raised in Philadelphia and Montgomery County, PA, Dr. Campbell attributes her values to her hardworking parents and a family deeply rooted in education and public service. Her parents' legacy of hard work, love, and integrity has significantly shaped her career and personal life.

At GCC, Dr. Campbell looks forward to collaborating across the college to build an inclusive community. “This work is not just about addressing challenges; it is about envisioning and building a future where all voices are heard and celebrated. By integrating principles of Inclusive Excellence and Justice, we aim to nurture a culture where everyone belongs and thrives.”

As the newly appointed Vice President, Dr. Campbell aims to bolster GCC’s mission and values, ensuring equity and access for all community members. Her strategic vision includes advancing new inclusive programs and initiatives that prepare students for diverse fields, including business, technology, and health care.
