All written work submitted by students enrolled in nursing courses must follow the updated guidelines of the American<br \/>\nPsychological Association. Students should also refer to individual course syllabi and assignment rubrics for written assignment evaluation guidelines.<\/p>\n<h3>Rewrite Policy<\/h3>\n<p>Rewrites are eligible to earn up to a maximum grade of 77 percent.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Failing assignments must be submitted with revisions within the timeline specified by the faculty, generally within one week.<\/li>\n<li>Written assignments violating academic integrity policies are not eligible for re-write.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Late Paper Policy<\/h3>\n<p>It is the responsibility of the student to communicate with the course coordinator before the due date<br \/>\nvia email to prevent loss of assignment credit.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No papers will be accepted after the due date without penalty, except with prior approval of the course faculty.<\/li>\n<li>Graded written assignments that have been submitted late without prior approval will lose 10 points on the first day and one point each day thereafter up to seven days.
