The decision to cancel classes due to adverse weather conditions or other emergencies rests solely with the President of GCC or their designee. Please refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.gcc.mass.edu\/resources\/handbook\">Inclement Weather Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When the college has a delayed opening, ALL nursing classes and labs beginning before the delayed opening time will be canceled. Students with clinical rotations may be expected to attend part of the clinical day if there is a delayed opening of the college. This decision is made by the course coordinator and faculty. They will communicate with their student groups.<\/p>\n<p>Nursing classes and labs which normally begin their meeting after the delayed opening time will meet as scheduled. Students must notify their clinical instructor before the scheduled clinical assignment time if they must be absent.
