Some questions we often hear from our transfer students:

How do I transfer credits I earned at another school?

You can learn more about our transfer credit policy and process at the Registrar’s Office.

Is there a way I can test to get credit for what I already know?

Yes. College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams are tests that cover material taught in courses that one may generally take in the first two years of college. You may earn college credit by successfully passing a CLEP test. Learn more at the Registrar’s Office.

Is orientation required for transfer students?

Yes. Even though you may have attended orientation at another school, we believe that it is important to learn about the policies and services we have here. Orientation is a required program for new degree-seeking students and students who have been away from the college for 2 or more years. Students who do not meet the orientation requirement (on campus or online) will not be allowed to register for the next semester.
