The GCC Foundation offers three scholarship application rounds annually (fall, winter and spring) for new, continuing and transferring students. Visit their website<\/a> for deadlines and application info.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0VFW's \"Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship\"<\/strong>\u00a0provides service members and veterans with the financial assistance they need to complete their educational goals without incurring excessive student loan debt. It\u2019s just another way for us to say \u201cthank you\u201d to those who fought for our freedoms.<\/p>\n

Scholarship Details:<\/em><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Scholarships of up to $5,000 will be awarded to qualified applicants.<\/li>\n
  • Awarded scholarships are limited to one per family per semester.<\/li>\n
  • Applications for the fall semester will be accepted Jan. 1 through April 30.<\/li>\n
  • Applications for the spring semester will be accepted Aug. 1 through Nov. 15.<\/li>\n
  • Fall semester scholarships will be awarded in August, and spring semester scholarships will be awarded in January.<\/li>\n
  • Scholarships must be used by the end of the school semester for which the veteran is applying or they will become null and void.<\/li>\n
  • Scholarships are restricted for tuition and fees only and will be paid directly to accredited schools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Eligible Applicants Must:<\/em><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Be a citizen of the United States.<\/li>\n
    • Be retired, honorably discharged,\u00a0active duty,\u00a0or a member of the National Guard or Reserve.<\/li>\n
    • Have completed Basic Training and follow-on training (Advanced Individual Training, technical school, etc.).<\/li>\n
    • Separated with or currently hold a military rank of E-5 or below.<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrate a need for financial assistance.<\/li>\n
    • Participate in, be accepted to or currently enrolled in a VA-approved program or school at an accredited post-secondary institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Apply for the Live Your Dream Scholarship if you are a woman who:<\/h4>\n

  • Provides the primary financial support for yourself and your dependents. Dependents can include children, spouse, partner, siblings and\/or parents.<\/li>\n
  • Has financial need.<\/li>\n
  • Is enrolled in or has been accepted to a vocational\/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program.<\/li>\n
  • Is motivated to achieve your education and career goals.<\/li>\n
  • Resides in one of Soroptimist International of the Americas\u2019 member countries\/territories (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Guam, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Northern Mariana Islands, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Taiwan, United States of America, Venezuela).<\/li>\n
  • Has not previously been the recipient of a Soroptimist\u00a0Women\u2019s Opportunity<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0Live Your Dream Award<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  • Does not have a graduate degree.<\/li>\n
  • Is not a Soroptimist member, an employee of Soroptimist International of the Americas or immediate family of either.<\/li>\n
  • Will write essays in your own words without the use of artificial intelligence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  • All fields of study<\/li>\n

    To apply, students must submit a video (three minutes or less) responding to the topic: What does responsible AI look like in the role of customer interactions? How should companies ensure fairness, transparency, and privacy when deploying advanced AI tools?<\/em><\/p>\n

The Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is a highly selective scholarship for the nation\u2019s top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor\u2019s degrees at four-year colleges or universities. Each Cooke Scholar has access to generous financial support for two to three years, ongoing advising, and the opportunity to connect with the thriving community of fellow Scholars.<\/p>\n

This highly competitive scholarship includes:<\/p>\n
