Audio Visual Services

GCC provides projectors and audio systems available in all instructional spaces. In addition, AV services, including recording and live streaming, can be available in the Dining Commons and Stinchfield lecture hall, and a few other spaces on campus.

TLIC staff are responsible for operating of that AV equipment for special events on campus and also to support faculty and other users of AV equipment in classrooms and conference rooms.

Current initiatives include:

    • Upgrading the AV in the library teaching lab
    • Reconfiguring classrooms to allow more flexible AV functions in classrooms
    • Reconfiguring the TV studio to allow more flexible media production

Recent accomplishments include:

    • Installing Owl cameras and updated displays in C208 and the new Workforce Development Studio
    • Developing methods for multi-camera Zoom meetings with remote participation for multiple spaces on campus
    • Replacing the projector in Stinchfield lecture hall

We also provide recording and video editing services for promotional materials, special events, and performances on campus.

To request AV coverage at an event, plea use the form that can be found on the page "Request AV Coverage for an Event."
