Plum is the student-run, faculty-guided literary journal of Greenfield Community College.  We publish student writers alongside new, emerging, and established writers from the western region of Massachusetts and southern Vermont.  Our mission is to provide a platform that nurtures the creative potential of students, celebrates the rich tradition of writing alive in our region, and creates an engaging exchange of stories, ideas and experiences that strengthens the community as a whole.

We accept submissions of fiction, poetry, nonfiction and reviews. We also facilitate and publish a variety of collaborative literary projects designed by the student editorial board. Plum is published twice a year, in May and December. Submissions are accepted year-round.

Students enrolled in the directed study class English 295 & English 296 form the Student Editorial Board.
